Invitation
Are you a person that loves explanations about how our bodies work? This 12-week course course is a complement to Self-Regulation: Creating Habits of Ease. It is designed for those who enjoy knowing the anatomy details behind Self-Regulation and the exquisite nature of our triune nervous systems.
Self-regulation helps us navigate life with more balance and ease. Self-regulation is a practice of self-care that keeps us in better contact with ourselves in our bodies. Find out what works to promote safety and ease, rooted in the latest research in neuroscience, neuroanatomy, polyvagal theory, energy medicine, trauma-informed care, and somatic intelligence. Somatic intelligence means learning about the intelligence of the body and how to work with it. Understanding how the body works is central to self-regulation.
Restorative Anatomy for Self-Regulation gives us beautiful details and images of the self-healing intelligence of the body. The body is always talking, and we can get better at listening as we know more about how our bodies work. Discover the intelligent design in our bodies to relieve stress, create mindfulness, and improve relationships.
The course is a complement to Self-Regulation: Creating Habits of Ease. It is designed for those interested in knowing the anatomy details behind the Self-Regulation course. More information on this course at PowerOfEaseKeys.com

The invitation to you, as a Wellness Practitioner and Educator, is to inquire into the grand intelligence of your nervous system. Be curious and enjoy discovering MORE about the exquisite nature of your triune nervous system. How could your own nervous system regulation be affecting your clients'? We will discuss these issues from a framework of Polyvagal Theory and Trauma-Informed Care, while staying embodied and moving toward Healing-Centered Engagement.

The Importance of Practice

Our habits are conditioned through repetition. The neural pathways of our habits began prenatally and carry across generations. We all have habits for how we sit, move, breath, and stand. We also have habits and patterns for how we respond when there is a perception of threat or distress. Embodied awareness helps us to see these patterns and habits.

Thus, the Self-Regulation study is a practicum. It is a place of practice. We are a community of practice.

You are encouraged to PLAY with the Ease Keys presented and the teachings. Truly have fun exploring and discovering. Explore dancing the moves, sing when you practice, have fun trying them on in different settings, choose your favorite Ease Keys to focus on for a week, then choose new ones.

These processes are made short, simple and share-able with your clients and colleagues. See what happens in your practice as people learn Ease Keys. You will receive a workbook, color handouts, and links to short videos describing each lesson.

There are a lot of ways to bring self-regulation into practice:

  • Share the Ease Keys – with clients, colleagues, at meetings, in other trainings, when coaching.

  • Share a lesson or the full series of lessons.

  • Share the videos.

  • Post the poster or use it as a handout.

Experience self-regulation practices and see which practices work for you.

• Understand how the nervous system, brain, circulatory systems, respiratory system, and bones work together to support us.

• Recognize why various self-regulation practices work to activate the relaxation reflex in the body.

• Use a personal workbook and daily practice to explore self-regulation and anatomy insights between sessions.

• Discover how your nervous system state makes all the difference in clinical settings through the power of co-regulation.

• Discuss how to work with the anatomy of self-regulation in a clinical setting.
